hello I’m Sarah

Jacksonville's best photographer standing in front of backdrop with camera in hand with a black suit on

I am a Wedding, Portrait, Newborn, Family, Headshot, and Senior photographer based in Jacksonville, Florida, but available to travel worldwide. I am also an award-winning destination wedding photographer!

to describe me in one word, it’s

THANKFUL

I think I’ve always been the one with a camera. Whether it was with my family or friends, I’ve always tried to capture happy moments when they happen! It was about eleven years ago that I realized I wanted better equipment and wanted to learn the true art of editing pictures to bring the best out of every shot. I can remember the moment I realized what professional pictures can mean to people. There was a young lady I loved named Catie, She was 15 years old and was battling cancer. Well, Catie and I had an impromptu photo shoot one night in my backyard.

A few months later, Catie lost her battle with cancer. Those pictures meant so much to me and to her family. I knew I had to keep furthering my career in photography and continue to give back to families facing such difficult situations.

My favorite part of being a photographer is giving people a priceless photo to document how great life truly is, and now you understand my why.  Life is short, and I plan to make the most of it. I would say my favorite statement is on a big canvas in my home, “It’s not happy people who are thankful, it’s thankful people are happy.” So, to describe me in one word, it’s thankful. I am always happy, and do my best to make every photo session fun! (I am also a self-proclaimed comedian, so I can get pretty much anyone to laugh during my sessions!). Please ask my clients, I will go above and beyond to make sure that you are happy with your pictures! I am proud to say that I was voted the Bold City Best Photographer in Jacksonville 2019 and 2020! I was also voted the Folio Weekly Best Wedding Photographer in 2019. I definitealy have to thank my amazing clients for that honor!

I am also a firm believer in giving back to my community. I do many sessions for free for children with cancer, children with disabilities and I love to give back to the military to thank them for the sacrifices they make for me and this great country! Morgan & Mark’s Hotel Palms Jax Beach Wedding

Becca and Gavin’s White Room St. Augustine Wedding

I met Becca's mom, Irami, a few years back in my previous life as a medical device rep. I fell in love with her from the beginning, so it should have come as no surprise when Becca called to meet with me that it felt like we were BFFs from the start! The connection...

Natasha & Josh’s Savannah Wedding at the Mackey House

What better way to celebrate Halloween than with a Savannah Wedding at the Mackey House! Natasha and Josh first met over a decade ago at a mutual friend's Halloween party. From that night, the rest was history and these two have been together ever since. So it's only...

Kayla and Brian’s Ever After Farms Wedding

Let me start off by saying that Kayla and Brian's Ever After Farms Wedding was truly a wedding photographer's fairy tale playground. Everything from the venue and the dress, to the Rolls Royce and the rockstar couple, was absolutely perfect. But the most important...

Brooke and Tony’s Destination Wedding at Casa Marina Key West

Brooke and Tony actually met when Brooke became interested in working with his company and they were set to discuss job opportunities. What makes this story even more interesting is the fact that *I* actually used to work for this same company. That's how I know both...

Courtney and Devon’s Micro Wedding at Kanapaha Botanical Gardens

Nine Years. Nine years is what it took to get to this moment. The beautiful wedding in celebration of two people who chose each other over and over. If you only knew the ups and downs of this story you would be in disbelief, it's what storybooks are written about. But...

Carissa and Eric’s Elopement in St. Augustine

I've actually known Carissa since the day she was born. Her mom was my friend in high school and it's been wonderful watching her grow up into a beautiful young woman and eventually finding the person who made her heart happy. Carissa and Eric have the cutest...

Ashley and Justin’s Wedding at The Royal Crest Room

I met Ashley in a salon chair when she was doing my hair and we became fast friends. So, of course, I was thrilled when she entrusted me to photograph her big day. Ashley and Justin live in Jacksonville but their wedding actually took place about 2.5 hours south in St...

Heather and Jelmer’s Utah Wedding

Heather and Jelmer's Utah wedding was absolutely incredible. I can't wait to take you all through the highlights of the day but first, we start at the beginning - nearly 25 years ago! Heather and Jelmer first met over two decades ago when they both attended a study...

Amber and Garvey’s Wedding at Bowing Oaks

Amber and Garvey's meet-cute story is the classic, girl meets boy next door. They lived in the same apartment complex and had been bumping into each other for a few months while walking their dogs. But, it wasn't until Garvey got a new Boston Terrier puppy that Amber...
