A Divine Union: Rachel & Zach’s Family-Centered Wedding at Treasury on the Plaza

I knew from the very first moment Rachel, Zach, and I sat down together that we were going to hit it off. There was an instant warmth and a shared understanding that their wedding wasn’t just about hosting a beautiful party. It was about honoring a deeply meaningful love story and celebrating the blending of a family.

Last weekend at the stunning Treasury on the Plaza in St. Augustine, we watched that beautiful vision come to life. The day itself was absolutely gorgeous, and the energy was infectious from start to finish.

A Promise to the Girls

While every wedding is special, Rachel and Zach’s ceremony took my breath away because of where they placed their focus. The day was centered entirely on their love for each other and on Rachel’s two gorgeous daughters, Lily and Alexa.

In one of the most touching moments I’ve ever had the honor of photographing, Rachel and Zach shared special vows not just with one another, but directly with Lily and Alexa. It was a beautiful testament to their bond as a complete family unit, and I don’t think there was a single dry eye in the room!

The Broken Road That Led Them Together

Before they ever officially met, Rachel and Zach’s lives were already quietly connected. They grew up in the same Jacksonville community, attended the same Jewish Center, and even shared mutual friends. They were always moving in parallel, but it took a perfectly timed match on Hinge to finally bring their stories together.

From their very first date, when Rachel ordered an Old Fashioned and Zach immediately decided he needed one too, they both knew this was something entirely different. Their love grew quickly but gently, rooted in a shared history, mutual respect, and the incredible joy of building a family with Lily and Alexa. As they look back on the winding roads and past heartbreaks that shaped them, they both feel strongly that timing is its own kind of destiny. They were always on the path to finding each other exactly when they were meant to.

An Unforgettable Celebration

Heading into the big day, Rachel and Zach were most excited to finally celebrate the beautiful partnership they have always deserved, surrounded by the incredible friends and family they cherish. Uniting two families who already shared so much overlapping history in the Jewish community made the day even more profound.

That joy was so evident in every single part of the celebration. The wedding party on both sides was incredibly fun and up for absolutely anything, making portrait time a total breeze. Once the reception started, that same amazing energy took over the room. Everyone was having the time of their lives, and the dance floor never stopped once the music started!
