April 11, 2026, was a day that can truly only be described as perfect. Hailey and Brody tied the knot at the stunning Deercreek Country Club, and every single detail of their day was a beautiful reflection of who they are together: genuine, fun-loving, and gorgeous on both the inside and out.
For me as a photographer, this wedding was incredibly special and felt very full-circle. I actually went to high school with Brody’s mom and dad! Getting to be the one to capture the next generation’s love story and watch their son marry his perfect match meant the absolute world to me.
How It All Started: The AB Skatepark
Every great wedding blog needs a great love story, and Hailey and Brody’s origin story is one of my favorites.
It all started on a regular day at the AB skatepark. Hailey was just hanging out with some friends when Brody randomly popped his head in and introduced himself. It was a simple, unexpected moment, but sometimes that is exactly how the best love stories begin. Hailey says she knew from that exact moment that he was “the one”, and looking at them on their wedding day, it is so easy to see why. Their connection is undeniable.
A Change of Plans: The First Look
When we were originally mapping out the timeline for their big day, Hailey and Brody were planning on doing a “first touch” before the ceremony. However, as the day got closer, their priorities shifted. They realized they wanted to spend as much time as absolutely possible celebrating with their guests at the reception.
So, they made the brilliant decision to switch to a First Look.
This ended up being the best choice for their day! It allowed them to share a private, emotional moment together before the ceremony, and it meant we could get all of their wedding party pictures completely finished before they even walked down the aisle. Once the “I dos” were said, they were ready to party!
Golf Cart Adventures & Sunset Portraits
Because we had structured the timeline so perfectly with the First Look, we had plenty of time to focus on just the two of them for their newlywed portraits.
One of the best perks of a Deercreek Country Club wedding is that they let us take a golf cart out to peruse the grounds! We had an absolute blast driving all around the gorgeous golf course, scouting out the best light and finding amazing backdrops. We were laughing and having so much fun the entire time, and it shows in every single frame. They completely stole the show against the beautiful greens.
Hailey and Brody, thank you so much for trusting me to capture your beautiful beginning. Your love story is just perfect, and I wish you both a lifetime of happiness!
