This wedding. These two. That boat. All the YES.

Maureen and Matt’s St. Augustine wedding was the kind of day that makes me feel so lucky to do what I do. From the moment Maureen and I first talked about the plan for the day. Starting portraits in St. Augustine before getting on the boat for the ceremony and reception. That way they could have some amazing wedding portraits with a few St. Augustine landmarks and then be ready to party on the boat!

We kicked things off under the dreamy tree canopy on Magnolia Avenue, then headed to the fort for those iconic St. Augustine views. These two were all laughter and love from the very beginning. Total naturals in front of the camera and just so them.

Real Love, Real Joy

Maureen told me they met while Matt was doing work on her home..a handyman, fixes, all the things. They kept in touch here and there until life brought them both full circle. She became a widow, he went through a divorce, and eventually they caught back up and fixed each other.

That line stuck with me, because that’s exactly what their day felt like. Healing, honest, and full of hope and love.

All Aboard the Celebration

After portraits, we hopped aboard Sabrage Charters and cruised along the Matanzas River for both their ceremony and reception. The weather was perfect. The river was calm. And the whole thing felt like a dream.

The ceremony was intimate and emotional. And when I say the party was on, I mean it. The dance floor didn’t stop. The energy was electric. You could feel how much love surrounded these two.

Grateful Doesn’t Even Cover It

Maureen and Matt, thank you for choosing me to tell your story. Being there with you, seeing the way you love, laugh, and lean on each other — I’ll carry that with me for a long time.

St. Augustine gave us the most beautiful backdrop, but it was the two of you who made the day unforgettable.
