High school sweethearts from Texas | Elopement in Jacksonville, FL

How It All Started

When Hallie first reached out, she was searching for a wedding photographer in Jacksonville to capture a simple beach elopement. She didn’t have a location picked—just a vision of marrying the love of her life by the ocean.

Bringing the Vision to Life

As a local wedding photographer in Jacksonville, I immediately recommended one of my favorite hidden gems: Boneyard Beach. During our conversation, I also let her know I’m a notary and could certify the marriage—and when I offered to officiate the ceremony, she gladly said yes.

So I became Hallie and Jace’s wedding planner, officiant, photographer, and notary—handling everything to ensure their day was seamless and stress-free. Want to see an Instagram Reel of the proof? Check it out here ALL IN ONE

An Elopement to Remember

Their intimate elopement, surrounded by their closest family and friends, was nothing short of perfect. We timed everything just before sunset, and the light at Boneyard Beach was absolutely magical.

A big thank you to my amazing assistant Amy, who picked up Hallie’s bouquet from Jacksonville Flower Market and helped bring the day together beautifully.

Hallie and Jace, thank you so much for choosing me to be such a big part of your special day. From planning to officiating and capturing every moment, it was truly an honor. I wish you both a lifetime filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Congratulations again, Mr. & Mrs. Shackelford!
