Olivia and Austin’s Clay Theatre Wedding

When I first got an inquiry about shooting Olivia and Austin’s Clay Theatre wedding I really hoped we would click! Ever since I first visited the Clay Theatre, I’ve been dying to shoot a wedding there! I knew it would be such an amazing venue. But, much as I would love to shoot every wedding I’m asked to do, I believe it’s really important that you and your wedding photographer are a good fit–not just with artistic style, but with personality. Trust me, it makes such a difference to your special day! So, before actually booking, I always FaceTime with the couple to make sure I’m the right person to capture the beginning of their journey together. I guess keeping my fingers crossed worked, because two minutes after meeting Olivia and Austin, I think we all fell in love!

We weren’t the only ones who fell in love fast. I found out that Olivia and Austin met on Hinge in March of 2021, and four months later they were engaged! When you know, you know, right! We had so much fun during their engagement session, but I was even more excited to document the big day!

Olivia and Austin’s Clay Theatre wedding was everything I could have hoped for! I’m all about November weddings in Florida because the weather is just perfect. It was high 60s low 70s all day, which meant everyone was comfortable and no one had to sweat, haha! Plus, the sunset was gorgeous. And I was right–The Clay Theatre was awesome! We got tons of portraits there, and also a bunch just down the road at Spring Park, which gave us the perfect amount of variety.

Of course, since their entrance song in to their reception was Motley Crue’s, “Kickstart my Heart”…I knew the party was gonna be epic!! And…we had SO much fun! I think it’s my first wedding with head banging and I’m here for it,,ha! There was just a ton of love and laughter between Olivia and Austin and their families. My cheeks actually hurt from laughing so much! I know I always say how much I love my couples, but I REALLY DO and these two were no exception. I absolutely adore them and am so lucky that they’re stuck with me for life!
