I was so excited to do Kinedy and Parker’s Treasury St. Augustine wedding! We have been fast friends literally from day one and I absolutely love these two! They are high school sweethearts (cheerleader and football player, obvs) and ridiculously in love. So cute to watch them together. The kind of couple I adore working with!
Engagement Session
I knew Kinedy and Parker’s wedding was going to be amazing because we had such a fantastic time at their engagement session! During our initial call, I found out they had goats, so of course had to include them in their engagement pictures! (What was I supposed to do? Pass on the goats? Please!) They turned out HILARIOUS btw… Check out my Instagram if you want to see them ๐
There was a bonus…In between the engagement session and the wedding these two welcomed the sweetest addition to their little family. Baby girl Avie is just perfect and made the wedding day even more special.
Wedding at St. Augustine’s Treasury on the Plaza
Kinedy and Parker’s Treasury St. Augustine wedding was perfect–as I knew it would be. Sure, the weather wasn’t as cooperative as we’d hoped, but it wasn’t going to put a dampers on this special day. The weather was actually perfect right up until the ceremony and then the heavens opened and it rained pretty much the entire rest of the night. Do I wish that instead of a first touch we did a first look with all of their portraits prior to the ceremony? Yes. But it all worked out! Thankfully we were able to get a bunch of outdoor shots with the bride, groom, and wedding party out on the grounds before the ceremony. And the Treasure on the Plaza has such gorgeous architecture that we were able to get amazing indoor portraits of the bride and groom afterwards. Take that, cloudbursts!
Sparkling in the Rain
And of course, after the ceremony is also party time! After we did the bride and groom portraits we got the party started–and they knew how to do it! I don’t think that dance floor ever stopped! Everyone had a blast–and guess what? Towards the end the rain slowed down just enough that we could still do our sparkler exit. Yes!
Love these two (I guess it’s three, now!) so much! It was a privilege (and a blast) to capture Kinedy and Parker’s Treasury St. Augustine wedding! Congrats, you guys! You really are the most beautiful family and I’m so glad you’re stuck with me for LIFE!
