Are you ready for the photos from Heather and Brad’s Epping Forest wedding? You’re going to love them! This was my first time shooting a wedding at Epping Forest and it was magical! There were so many beautiful spots around the main house. (Loved the stucco and mission-style roof!) And the marina at sunset was AMAZING!
How We Met ๐
Heather is a hair stylist and found out about me through one of her clients (Kimberly) who also happened to be one of my brides. Kimberly was looking through her pictures while she was at the salon (thank you Kimberly!), and of course, Heather couldn’t help seeing them, and asked for my info. It’s always an honor when someone in the wedding business chooses me to document their special day! Folks who are in the biz have an eye for detail. They get to see lots of different styles, and they know exactly when something fits their preference. I was so excited when Heather reached out and told me she loved my work and wanted to hire me as her Epping Forest wedding photographer! We definitely realized we were a great team during their engagement shoot… it was FIRE!
How They Met!
Heather and Brad actually went to high school together (same prom group and everything) but they were more acquaintances than friends. Fast forward ten years and guess what happens? Their high school reunion! That’s right–these two ended up hanging out for most of the reunion and had so much fun they decided they wanted to keep doing it for the rest of their lives! Timing is everything, right? You meet someone at one stage of life and you’re just friends–another stage and you’re married!
Both families were super close and there was so much love! I got to capture some of the special moments between the bride and groom and their parents–which were so sweet! It was a big wedding party, which can sometimes make things tricky, but everyone was so much fun and ready for anything! We even managed a big group shot on the dance floor. No easy feat! And speaking of the dance floor…it was HOPPIN’! Everyone looked they were having such a blast that it was tough to resist getting in there myself…so I didn’t! I jumped right in and joined the fun!
