Sarah and Samuel’s Hammock Beach Resort wedding has been a long time coming! I’m so excited that I was finally able to share their special day! And now I get to share the beautiful wedding pictures with all of you!
Wait for It!
I first met these two for their engagement session waaaay back in July of 2019. At that point, they’d scheduled their wedding for June of 2020….And we all know what happened to weddings scheduled for 2020. ๐ Because of COVID, they had to push it back to December 2020, and then again to December 2021. Talk about building up the anticipation! It’s okay though, ’cause this time we made it happen and it was magical!
I’m so stoked we did because Sarah and Samuel are the sweetest and they totally deserve every bit of this happiness! They met at UNF through mutual friends and became close friends. Sam took a while, but he finally worked up the courage to ask her out on a first date–and the rest is history!
A Beautiful Hammock Beach Resort Wedding
This Hammock Beach Resort wedding was perfect! Everything was outdoors, and the weather couldn’t have been better. I mean, look at the sky in those wedding portraits! With Florida weather, even in December you risk it being too hot to dance outside during the reception. But it was just cool enough for everyone to have a blast! Fun fact: Sarah and Samuel had picked out their first dance song (Ribbon in the Sky, by Stevie Wonder) before they were even engaged. Yeah, I think they knew it was just a matter of time. ๐
Both families were so amazing and blended like they were meant to be together–which, of course they were! It really couldn’t have been a better day–and the wait just made everything all the more worth it! Thank you, Sarah and Samuel, for choosing me to be your wedding photographer for your gorgeous Hammock Beach Resort wedding! Delays and all, I wouldn’t have missed it for the world!
