Amber and Garvey’s meet-cute story is the classic, girl meets boy next door. They lived in the same apartment complex and had been bumping into each other for a few months while walking their dogs. But, it wasn’t until Garvey got a new Boston Terrier puppy that Amber “found” a reason to approach him – you know how puppies get the ladies! Does it even get any more wholesome than that?! Of course, one thing led to another which eventually led them to say “I Do” to hiring me as the photographer for their gorgeous wedding at Bowing Oaks.

One thing you may not know about hiring me is that amazing weather is a bonus part of my wedding packages HA. Usually, it’s a $5 upcharge but I blessed Amber and Garvey’s big day for free. We could not have had more beautiful weather, just look at the sunshine peeking through the Oak Trees! Bowing Oaks in a stunning wedding venue with so many great photo opportunities around the property. I mean, check out the tree shot at day and night! Plus, the wedding party was amazing and down for anything I asked of them! Gotta get that jump shot. 🙂

As fun as everyone was, one of my favorite parts of the day was how emotional Garvey became at the thought of marrying his beautiful bride. It’s wonderful when people allow me to photograph the true emotions of the day. It makes for more authentic memories when you look back on your wedding photos years from now.

As heartfelt as the ceremony was, the reception was absolutely a party. Everyone came to get down on the dance floor and it showed! Amber and Garvey stole the show with their wedding dance, especially their dip which they practiced to perfection after their engagement photos! Amber and her dad also had some crazy dance prepared and I loved it! Not to upstage the bride and groom, but I also developed a love affair with their cupcakes from Nothing Bundt Cakes. They were so good I literally ate way too many of them, seriously!

Amber and Garvey, I’m so thankful you found and trusted me to document your amazing wedding at Bowing Oaks. I adore you both and wish you a lifetime of love and laughter.
