Travis and Emily have the cutest meet-cute story in the whole world. The bride and groom met online when Emily’s friend signed her up for a Match.com account. She connected with Travis and they decided to go on a first date. Except on the night of their date,  Emily’s car battery died making her THREE HOURS late! At this point, she thought for sure she had lost her opportunity with Travis. However, he proved he was a trooper and stuck it out so they could go to trivia night together. They wound up having a great time and the rest is history!

Emily and Travis decided to have their wedding at University of North Florida and fill it with personal touches. From the sunflowers, Emily adored, to personal mementos in remembrance of loved ones who could no longer be with them. She even decided to beautify the ceiling of the reception space! With the help of her family (who were the real MVPs), they custom made and hung these incredible valances. It was a great way to transform a large space and make it unique to their vision. Since Emily graduated from UNF, she was always in love with the beautiful campus. I’d say the photographs prove just how gorgeous their day and the campus really was.

But the best personal touch was when the bride and groom had Zaxby’s delivered after their sparkler exit for a late-night snack! I can honestly say I’ve never seen anything like it, and it was literally the greatest thing. It was nearly as epic as Travis showing up for the garter removal in a flight helmet.

Thank you so much for trusting me to photograph your beautiful day. There is no other way I would have rather finished the year than at your wedding at University of North Florida. I adore you both!! To many years of love and laughter.
