Lauren and Peter got married on Florida-Georgia weekend in the San Marco Preservation Hall. I cannot tell you how incredibly gorgeous their wedding venue was. San Marco Preservation Hall is a historic landmark, was built in 1888 as St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. It actually wasn’t moved to its current location at Fletcher Park until almost 100 years later. It was the perfect place for Lauren and Peter’s intimate wedding with its wooden pews and beautiful hardwood floors.

Obviously one of our biggest concerns with a San Marco Preservation Society Wedding on Florida-Georgia weekend was all of the traffic in that part of town. Especially trying to get to Treaty Oak where the bride really wanted photos. Luckily the game was going on post-ceremony so we were able to sneak on down to Treaty Oak. I’m so glad we did because those photos were just absolutely beautiful. I mean, talk about a sunset shot!

Lauren and Peter also had one of the most fun bridal parties I’ve photographed! They were down for all the shenanigans and had so much fun together.

Fun fact: Peter works for the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp. It’s where he and Lauren met for their first date. Baseball is big in their house, it’s also why Peter’s groomsmen gifts were cups made out of hallowed out baseball bats!

The bride and groom’s reception was at FOP Lodge where they played the most 90’s booty music that I’ve ever witnessed at a wedding reception. SO, I literally couldn’t stop dancing and I think all of the guests will attest to it. I wasn’t the only one, guests were on the dance floor all night long. There was so much love all around. It seriously was a perfect day! Eventually, Lauren and Peter wrapped up the night with a sweet bubble exit.

Lauren, Peter and sweet baby Madison, I’m so thankful you chose me to document your day. Wishing you a lifetime of love and laughter!
