I first met Ebony when she was in a wedding I photographed in the Dominican Republic. Thank you Shi! So imagine how freaking excited I was when she reached out to me to photograph her and Brandon’s Queen’s Harbour Yacht and Country Club wedding here in Jacksonville! Bonus, it was my first time at the club to photograph a wedding! The club sits along a golf course and had incredible harbor views so there was no shortage of gorgeous scenery. It’s always a huge time saver for the wedding party when there are so many great photo opportunities at a single location.

The bride and groom did an amazing job putting personal touches on an already gorgeous venue too. Ebony was speaking to my heart with all things glitter, floral and blush! The entire day photographed beautifully.

Their mid-October wedding couldn’t have been more perfect. Florida weather finally started to chill out a smidge and the rain held off into the evening, just long enough that the bride and groom could dance outside. But more important than the weather was all of the love present. Ebony and Brandon originally met online, but if you were at the wedding, you would have been surprised to find out these families hadn’t known each other for decades.

It was like one big happy reunion. One with a lot of dancing. I don’t think the dance floor ever slowed down! Except for maybe during the garter removal when Brandon slowed it wayyy down and turned into Magic Mike for a hot minute. IT WAS AMAZING. HA!
