One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is getting to watch families grow. There are few other professions in the world where you get to be a part of so many life-changing moments throughout a person’s life. I originally met Ashley and Rich for a maternity session a couple of years ago. Ashley came to me a few days before she had Myla and created stunning maternity photos with me. Then came back for newborn photos!

Imagine how touched I was when they reached back out to me a couple of years later to photograph their gorgeous Jacksonville Beach Wedding. I couldn’t wait to see sweet little Myla – news flash, she is the cutest thing in the whole world and basically stole the show all wedding day long. Sorry, mom!

Getting married on a public beach can always be a little risky. You never know who could show up in the background. Despite being a bit crowded that day, the beach did eventually clear out for wedidng photos and, bonus, the weather was gorgeous.

The bride and groom celebrated their wedding reception at Coastal Occasions where they did some of the coolest things I’ve ever seen including these long community tables. The also had a grazing table, which I’ve never seen before and it was like my favorite thing in the whole world. If anyone watches my insta you know the food and the wine are like, 1/8th the reason I do this-ha. So a grazing table was right up my alley! Brie cheese ALLL DAYYY!
