Before I can tell you about Shadai and Maurice’s stupid incredible Hard Rock Punta Cana Destination Wedding I have to take you back to the beginning. Way, way back to the beginning because these two love bugs actually met in elementary school. They took it slow for a long time, while they learned to do things like tying their shoes and driving. Before finally getting together and creating the most beautiful little human in the world, Nia.

Which brings us to their wedding day. I Love photographing destination weddings. Especially for a bride and groom who know how to do it right. On our first night in Punta Cana, they threw a white party followed by a snorkeling cruise on Friday before their wedding on Saturday. The weather was beautiful, even if was crazy hot!! It was a small price to pay for being in paradise though and it couldn’t have been more perfect.

Shadai and Maurice were surrounded by about 50 of their closest family and friends who all came prepared to party. The ceremony was beautiful on the sugar sand beaches with the ocean in the background. The party moved indoors for the reception where the bride and groom had their first dance with sparklers inside. Good luck getting that to fly in the US haha. It was the perfect way to kick off their mardi gras party reception.

The day after the wedding I called and woke them up at 4:45am to do an incredible sunrise photo session. They were running on about 45 minutes of sleep but you would never know because they rocked their sunrise photos. THIS is another benefit of hiring ME as your Destination Wedding Photographer! I’m game to maximize time and money lighting! The sunrise shoot was the perfect way to wrap up their Hard Rock Punta Cana Destination Wedding before I flew back home that same day.
