Logan and Jessica met here in Jacksonville while he was in the area for military training. It must have been fate because they hit it off and decided to try the long-distance thing and now here they are, cute as ever, on their wedding day. Jessica and Logan’s Oyster Bay Yacht Club Wedding was the best on so many levels. First of all, their dog Bear was the ring bearer. It doesn’t get any better or punnier than that. Plus, he was such a good boy and kind of obsessed with me throughout the entire ceremony.
The bride had a couple of surprises up her sleeve for the groom throughout the day. He teared up when he saw that she had his name patch sewn into her dress. She also decided to smoosh his entire face with a plate of cake during the cake cutting. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen anyone do that but it was hilarious and Logan was such a good sport!
There were so many great moments throughout Jessica and Logan’s wedding day. Like when Jessica was putting on her shoes before the ceremony and realized the buckle was way too big. So, of course, I came to the rescue and decided to bite a hole into the strap so it would fit. I joked that this was just the level of service she gets when she hires me. I don’t think either of us will forget it! ha! Later on, during sunset photos, there was a boat docked along the ramp so we asked the owners if we could use it and they said yes! The photos turned out so epic.
As beautiful as their ceremony was, the reception was a blast. Let’s just say all of their guests clearly came to partaaay. From the dancing… to Logan getting sassy during the garter removal… to the epic lipsyncing into the mic….to the Gator Chomp (which of course I loved and joined)…it was a perfect night celebrating these two.
It was truly just a beautiful day Oyster Bay Yacht club, filled with so many great moments and two of the cutest people.
Jessica and Logan, I adore you and I’m SO lucky you chose me to capture your special day!
