Cassandra and Ernest had a gorgeous winter wedding at Nocatee Crosswater Hall.ย Despite the threat of rain all day, the weather managed to stay clear through their outdoor ceremony and then held off again for gorgeous wedding photos. Although according to Ernest and his father,ย it was absolutely freezing all day. Since they are both from Africa!ย The groom was a trooper though and managed to make it through the bride and groom portraits. It’s a good thing too because they turned out gorgeous.
It’s rare that Florida brides really embrace winter weddings but Cassandra went with a wintery color scheme and even beautiful fur wraps for herself and her bridesmaids. Ernest is originally from Africa and after many years with Cassandra, they decided to get married here in the states. While they didn’t have the traditional 24-hour African wedding, they found other ways to incorporate Ernest’s culture and heritage in her bouquet. He also had a custom grooms cake that was pretty awesome and tasted incredible.
Their small intimate wedding was so great. Once the party got warmed up their friends and family took turns keeping the dance floor going until the end of the night. Ernest surprised everyone with this mad dance skills – he even gave me a run for my money on the dance floor. The bride and groom also added my Platinum Photobooth to their wedding package and it was a huge hit. They had a custom keepsake book for copies of all of their guests fun and as party favors gave them each of their own photobooth keepsake frames.
Thank you so much for choosing me to document your gorgeous winter wedding at Nocatee Crosswater Hall. It was the perfect setting for your big day!
