Alyssa and Anthony’s wedding at Jacksonville Public Library took place on a gorgeous day in Florida. The weather cooperated all day so that we could create beautiful photos before their wedding. Alyssa and Anthony opted to do a first look before their wedding ceremony which gave them an extra five points towards favorite wedding ever! I love first looks because they allow for so much more time and flexibility on the wedding day. The pictures turn out incredible because we have so many more options with fewer time constraints. We started their wedding portraits at the Jacksonville Riverfront, then headed over to Friendship Fountain. This was the very spot where Anthony proposed to Alyssa!
Afterward, we made our way to the Florida Theatre where the bride actually had a settee delivered! (Yes, there was a concert, no we didn’t get kicked out… well, not exactly! HA) The wedding photos in front of the theater were AMAZING. They turned out even more epic than I imagined between the settee and Alyssa’s beautiful flowers. Her bouquet was perfect – I love the new trend of larger, wider bouquets. It adds that extra touch to photographs making everything even more elegant and epic at the same time.
Their ceremony and reception at the Jacksonville Public Library was gorgeous. I’ve photographed a few weddings there now and each were completely different. It’s fun to see all of the different ways the venue can be changed depending on the bride’s style. Amanda with Events by Amanda did a great job (as always!) executing Alyssa’s style.
