Erica and Darrell met over ten years ago thanks to some mutual friends, but they literally act like they just fell in love yesterday. It’s the cutest. Their wedding at Nocatee Crosswater Hall took place on the most perfect day in early November. The weather was gorgeous, her dress was stunning (seriously, multiple ladies messaged me about her perfect dress!), and I was obsessed with all the little details. Especially those flowers by Let Destiny Design. I could have photographed them all day long!

Before we arrived at Crosswater Hall, Erica spent the morning getting ready with her girls where she did a reveal with them once she stepped inside her dress. You can see their super cute reactions in the photos below. Crosswater Hall is a gorgeous wedding venue. Their wedding ceremony took place outside on the lawn where we also took some of their formal portraits. But there are so many great photography locations on the grounds, I took Erica and Darrell on a little walking tour with me after their ceremony to create some gorgeous photographs.

The reception took place upstairs in the ballroom at Crosswater Hall where the bride and groom had a surprise in store for everyone. Erica and Darrell walked onto the dance floor for their first song and pulled a choreographed dance number out of their pocket. Darrell is the type of guy who is pretty quiet and subdued so I don’t think anyone expected that, which made it all the more special! They may have even got a standing ovation by most of the guests at the end!

After some crazy fun dancing by everyone (including Grandma)…Erica and Darrell wrapped up their wedding night with a first for me, streamer wands and a lighted balloon send off!

Their day was perfect and so is their love for each other. I’m SO lucky they chose me to document their amazing day!
