Carlie and Jesse originally discovered me for their Marietta Wedding at the Brickyard through a mutual friend of ours. In a previous career,ย I used to work with our friend Jerry, who was the officiant for their wedding. He convinced them they had to book me (thank you Jerry!) and lucky for all of us, they listened! When I finally got to meet them in person, I just ADORED THEM BOTH SOOO MUCH! So that’s how I found myself in Marietta, Georgia photographing a wedding at one of the coolest places in the state. The Brickyard is this historic building from the 1920’s that’s a completely open concept with all the original brickwork and these incredible barreled wooden ceilings that photographers and brides freak out about. The venue was large enough that the bride and groom were able to have their ceremony and reception all in one space, which can be unheard of. One of the best parts about the Brickyard is how eclectic the surrounding area of Marietta is. I totally know why they fell in love with it and I would love to photograph there again and again.

Their wedding day began on just the right note with perfect fall weather. I started my afternoon with Carlie and her girls as they got their hair and makeup done before we ventured over to the ceremony. It was such a sweet and simple gathering. I don’t think their bridal party stopped smilingย  for the entire ceremony which was so cute. There was so much love with Carlie and Jesse too. They really are a perfect match!ย  After the ceremony, we hit the streets for some portraits of the bridal party and the bride and groom alone. You guys, it was MONEY. Like seriously, perfect paved brick walkways with wrought iron fences and gorgeous flowers. Carlie, you made my job too easy in Marietta! We created some stunning photos of the two of them before heading back to the reception where they had hung twinkling lights every. It couldn’t have been a better backdrop for all the photos that evening!

Congratulations Carlie and Jesse! I wish you a lifetime of love and laughter ๐Ÿ™‚ย  Thank you so much for choosing me!
