Every couple has a beginning to their love story and I love hearing them told. Here’s the meet-cute story of how Taylor met Brad..as told by Taylor.
After a rough morning running The Gateย River Run on March 9, 2013, Iย headed out on the town to celebrate the run with my family & friends.ย That night while I was at Mellow Mushroom, I noticed a really cute guy looking at me directly across from the bar (Iย must add that he was rocking a really cool jean jacket).ย I said something to my sister about him and while I was talking to my other girlfriend, Iย looked up and noticed my sister had made her way over to the guy and was handing him a piece of paper.ย She walked back over to me all giddy, while telling me thatย she gave him my number.ย Brad and his friend left shortly after but Iย ended up getting a text that said “Hi, I’m Brad” ….from that point, the texts, dates, years all passed by.
After their first date she texted him and said “Im going to marry you someday.” Which,ย pretty much stunned him. But, he did say, “You better screenshot that so there’s proof it was said in the future!” …and that’s what she did. They made a beautiful wooden engraved plaque with the it too! PS Brad, that’s twice that she was right so…you probably best be listening to her in the future. ๐
The bride and groom had a beautiful wedding at the Ribault Club on a gorgeous Florida day.ย It was also one of the sweetest, most emotional days I’ve ever witnessed. Taylor is lucky to have two leading men in her life, her son Gage and her (now) husband Brad. Both of them were super emotional when they saw her for the first time that day. They weren’t the only ones either, so was her dad and her sisters!ย But the cutest was seeing Gage and Brad together throughout the day. Gage was the cutest best manย ever.ย He broke down while giving his toasts and I’m pretty sure the entire wedding congregation got something in their eye. ๐
And did I mention theirย wedding at the Ribault Club was gorgeous? It’s one of those wedding venues you want to photograph again and again because it’s always so beautiful.
Congratulations Taylor and Brad! I am so thankful you trusted me to document your special day! I hope you’re enjoying your new married life in California!
