When April and Douglas first reached out to me for their Golden Ocala Wedding we instantly bonded over the Florida Gators. Because really, what else do you talk about in the fall? But, I’m pretty sure it’s the reason they chose me to be their wedding photographer. In fact, I met Douglas the first time at the Gator spring game and it’s basically been a fun friendship ever since. I literally walked up to him and said Dougie Fresh! Which I found out is his nickname among friends… I mean he even had it stitched into his custom-made suit. (Photo for proof below!)

They were married at the stunning Golden Ocala Golf and Equestrian Club and it was truly one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve attended. April did an amazing job with their color scheme and she had so. many. flowers. It was a photographers dream and I wish every wedding had flowers like this. We even lucked out with a mostly cloudy day so the bride and groom were able to take advantage of all the gorgeous photography locations at the club and around the golf course.

Douglas saw April for the first time during the ceremony and there was so much real emotion there. He started to tear up and I’m pretty sure everyone else did too. The reception was also a blast. Their Golden Ocala wedding was also the first to use my Platinum Photobooth and I was pretty stoked about that, so were their guests! The entire reception was filled with so much laughter and dancing. Let me tell you, their families know how to party and get down. I don’t think the dance floor let up at all through the night.
