Alyssa and Jeremy did a semi- elopement in Savannah. Originally they were going to have a big wedding here in Jacksonville and unfortunately they had some hurricane damage to their home. So, they came over to my house for a brainstorming session to get it all figured out, and I literally talked them into doing an elopement in Savannah with their closest friends and family. It was perfect. They rented a house right near Forsyth Park, had a small dinner at The Ole Pink House afterward – it was the bomb.com.
Literally, the wedding day was perfect. Even the weather cooperated! Alyssa looked stunning in her wedding dress, the bridal party was on point and just look at Jeremy’s face during their first look! Heart melted. They’re the cutest and I literally adore them. They even have an adorable little love story. The bride and groom were best friends for the longest time. She even called herself his “wing woman” and he watched her go through bad relationships. Then one day they realized they had feelings for each other and now here they are, eloping in Savannah!
I have always wanted to shoot at Wormsloe Plantation so we hopped in the car and drove to Wormsloe. There were some people there but I put on my crowd control hat (and the Bride yelled at a few people) and we were able to get some gorgeous shots among all the trees. Then we did a little tour of downtown Savannah before heading to their dinner.
I literally can’t believe how much trust Alyssa and Jeremy put in me when it came to changing plans and calling shots for their wedding day. But I’m so glad they did because the day and the photos turned out absolutely amazing. The day was gorgeous, and I think this was just another great addition to their already awesome story.
Alyssa and Jeremy, I love you both and I’m SO thankful you chose me to document your amazing day!
