If you have ever been to Disney World and played “spot the hidden Mickey” you would have had a grand ole’ time at Justine and John’s wedding at Disney Yacht Club Resort. They were hiddenΒ everywhere. In her floral bouquet, as flowers along the aisle, lights on the dance floor – the list doesn’t end.
But I’m getting ahead of myself. Justine and John were set up by his sister at a Jaguar Game because she thought they would be a good match. Obviously, she was on to something because here we are! In addition to their love of Seminole football, Justine and her entire family areΒ huge Disney fans. Like, fanatic might be an understatement. I swear her parents have been on at least 79 Disney cruises. I may have begged them to adopt me. So, the big question wasn’t whether John made good husband material, but did he accept Disney?
The answer was wholeheartedly yes because they wound up getting married at the Disney Yacht Club. Almost every girl grows up dreaming of her fairytale wedding. Some of those girls grow up to have the most epic fairytale weddings of all time, Justine was one of those brides. Words can’t begin to describe how incredibly over the top (in the best way) her wedding at Disney Yacht Club was. The fairytale theme was incorporated into every last detail from crystal Mickey heads in the flowers to hidden mickey’s in the cake done by Disney Weddings.Β Even the weather was perfect for them. It was like the famous mouse himself doused the day in his magic.
But I couldn’t have wished for anything more for two of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. Justine and John were a match made in heaven. They were also the first clients I’ve ever had to make my assistant and I guests of the wedding. They had us seated at tables with the rest of their guests to enjoy the stupid amazing food. Oh gosh, and their signature cocktails were amazing. Each of them had a Moscow mule cocktail and they were the bomb.com. The reception was off the chain! One of the highlights was Justine’s Bridesmen giving their toast by re-enacting the bridesmaid scene. I loved the captured moment of Justine realizing what they were doing about 30 seconds in!
Words can not express what a magical day it was. Congratulations Justine and John, I hope your marriage is as magical as your wedding day was. Thank you for choosing me to document your big day!!
