So about 2 years ago is when I first met Emily’s mom, Nancy, and her twin sisters, Alexis and Brenna, in Jekyll Island for their highschool senior pictures. All three of them were absolutely gorgeous and I got along so well with them all, the session was a blast!! They have a home in Jekyll Island and decided to do their photos there but actually live in Pennsylvania! So, imagine my surprise when a year or so later, I get a phone call that the older daughter Emily is getting married – and her mom and sisters basically forced her to use me, poor Emily didn’t have a choice in photographers! The good news is, we, of course, had so much fun at their engagement session and Tyler, Emily and I quickly fell in love. I was so glad that they decided to have their wedding in Jekyll Island too. It ended up being one of my last weddings of the season and honestly, it couldn’t have ended my year on a better note. Visiting with their family, getting to see her sisters again, and witnessing so much love and fun, it was like being at one of my own family members weddings. Absolutely one of the highlights of my year.

It was also ridiculously gorgeous. Can we just talk about Emily’s style here for a minute? Everything was stunning and gave off such a romantic vibe. From the venue and flowers to her dress, her bridesmaid’s dresses and even those sparkly glitter keds. Those photographs of the dress might be some of my favorites ever taken. The gentleman looked mighty dapper themselves too might I add.

Emily and Tyler’s wedding day brought about gorgeous blue skies and so much sunshine for their beach wedding. Afterwards, we went all over Jekyll Island and enjoyed the gorgeous Oaks and tons of history to backdrop this gorgeous couple and wedding party! But, once the sun had died away we retreated to driftwood beach for some more gorgeous photos – the one with Emily pulling Tyler by the suspenders? SWOON!

It was a lovely day for the loveliest couple. Thank you so much for trusting me to capture your day Emily and Tyler! I love you both and your family too! Can’t wait to see you again soon!
