As a photographer and business owner, there are few things that make me feel better than a referral from a client. I love and appreciate it so much when clients refer me out to family and friends. Which is actually how I met my recent clients, Kelly and Josh. They actually came to me because a bride of mine said she must use me. So I’m actually going to see a lot of Kelly in the next few months as we did her maternity pictures, then I’ll be doing her newborn session and finally, I’ll see her at the wedding of the bride who referred me because Kelly is in it! But I’m getting ahead of myself because we have to talk about this gorgeous maternity session.

I met Kelly and Josh at one of my favorite places, Hanna Park. I’ve talked about Hanna Park a lot but it truly is one of my favorite places to photograph at. It seems like every time I go I’m finding a new location or achieving a totally different look than I did on my last visit. Kelly arrived and she looked absolutely beautiful. You would never know this mom to be has two babies in there and has been on bed rest for a few months, look at her pregnancy glow! One of my favorite photos is her standing by herself holding her baby belly. I can already see so much love there. Another of my favorites is Josh whispering in her ear.

I can’t wait to meet their twin boys next month! Fun fact, Josh is a firefighter and we have some really special photos planned with the twins in Josh’s fire uniform – including carrying one in each pocket. I’m counting down the days until I get to meet those little guys.
