Believe it or not, I’ve known the Gabisch family for years. I went toย high school with Jennifer and Joe and now their oldest son Tyler is graduating high school this year. Crazy how time flies! Tylerย will be going to FSU in the fall, making it the perfect time for them to update their family portraits. The entire family showed up to the photoshoot looking like they walked straight our of a Gap Ad. I mean, look at how perfectly coordinated they are! No lie, these are the types of things that make photographers extremely happy. Plus, those tones are perfect for the beach session photography we had planned.
Hannah Park is one of my favorite places for family photography sessions because within a short distance there is access to boardwalks, beaches, sand dunes and lakes. It also tends to be less busy and crowded thanย other beaches in the area.
Its always interesting photographing a family of boys because, as a generalย rule of thumb they’re least likely to enjoy having their pictures taken. However, these guys did great! In fact, the hardest part was getting them to stop running their handsย through their hair in almostย every photo! By the end of the shoot it became a hilarious reoccurring theme so of course, I had to capture a few photos to document it. But I have to admit, they do have some pretty awesome hair!
We ended up with some great family photos as well as portraits of each of the boys, the siblings together, parents with each of the siblings and of course, I always make time for photos of just mom and dad too. It’s importantย to me that all aspects of the family dynamic are captured during every family photo shoot.
I’m so thankful to FINALLY get family portraits of this gorgeous family… just sad it took a “couple” of years! ๐ . Thank you Gabisch family!
