What can I say about Karen and Jason other than that their St Augustine engagement session just may have been my most fun session to date – and that is probably an understatement! ย I mean, you know it’s going to be a good time when your engagementย session starts at No Name Bar in St. Augustine. We decided to kick things off the right way with 2 drinks each, myself included. At which point I may have warned them that they might have blurry photos – kidding! Honestly, though, I’m starting to think that beginning your engagement photos in a great bar with a couple of drinksย to help everyone relax is a great way to begin your session.
As we walked through downtown St Augustine things took a sweeter, more romantic turn. It’s hard not to feel charmed as you walk down the streets of St Augustine along brick paved side streets, amongst buildings that are hundreds of years old while the smell of saltwater lingers in the air. Walking is something I like to do for most of my engagement sessions because it helps take pressure offย of a couple at the beginning of a photo session and allows them to naturally engage with each other. The more relaxed Karen and Jason got, the steamier the session became! By the time we reached the historic fort in St Augustine I was capturing some very sexy photos of the two lovebirds.ย Karen and Jason love to work out and it was definitely showing through in the photos. But things didn’t stay like that for long!
Before I knew it things went from sexy and romantic to absolutely hysterical as they found new uses for the cannon and cannonballs – make love and not war, right? Needless to say, I can not wait for their wedding this September in Ponte Vedra, shenanigans will abound I’m sure!
