I’m so excited to share this gorgeous Spartan Manor Wedding in North Tampa!! Going back home to shoot a wedding is always fun. Especially when you know and adore the bride and groom! I’ve known Tricia for a few years now, and she is truly one of the sweetest people I know. I also must say that it took me about two minutes to realize Ty was a perfect “sweet as sugar” match to Tricia! Yes, it’s a “they met at work” romance. But, their job involves alcohol dispensing products….so, I consider that a win for all parties! Especially because we HAD to stop at a bard during their engagement session in St. Augustine!
The Wedding Day!
The wedding day was gorgeous. Perfect weather, and amazing people. Since the ceremony was later on in the day, I requested that Tricia and Ty do a first look. I know, I know, many brides are skeptical about their grooms seeing them before they walk down the aisle. But, I’ve never had a bride regret it. First of all, it allows me, the photographer, to ensure you have great light and the best opportunity for a gorgeous backdrop. Secondly, It gives the bride and groom that special moment to just enjoy each other before the sometimes crazy rest of the day! Check out the first look below and you’ll understand what I’m saying. Crews Lake Park was the PERFECT location and I’m so thankful we went there!
The Ceremony and Reception
The Ceremony was so emotional. Tricia and Ty wrote their own vows. Tricia got through hers fairly well, but as soon as Ty started to speak, he started to choke up. There’s something about a big emotional man. It was all I could to keep taking pictures! I’m so glad they had Brett with Hatfield Productions documenting this (and many more) amazing moment! I also have to give props to the Spartan Manor Wedding planner, Daphne! This ceremony went off without a hitch! Everything was on time and on point.
I learned a little secret right before the reception! Tricia and Ty had dance lessons! They practiced their dance right before we went into the reception! It was so awesome…It even had a lift! 🙂
The reception was a blast, and since the Anthony, the DJ was jammin’, I had to get in on the dance action (stay tuned for Brett’s video, I’m sure my professional dance moves will be on there!).
Everyone had a blast, and Tricia and Ty couldn’t stop smiling. I’m so thankful they found each other, and I’m so thankful they chose me to document their special day!!
