When Ravnell first called me about being her maternity and newborn photographer, I was ecstatic! First of all, she wanted an announcement shot and maternity progression shot where she came to my studio every 8-10 weeks. I LOVE documenting the belly growing!
Her husband, Langston, and son, LJ (who is literally the cutest thing ever) really made me realize how lucky I was to be their chosen family photographer!! ย We shot their pregnancy announcement at the Treaty Oak Tree, and we did their maternity session at the Jacksonville Library (which was not easy because they tried to kick us out a few times) But, the library was important because Ravnell and Langston got married there! Plus IT’S GORGEOUS! We did get permission to shoot her maternity photos there, but boy did Securrrity have an issue once we were there! ย I’m happy we were able to get the shots we did, and I think they turned out stunning!
Boy was I thankful to be the chosen newborn photographer…when sweet baby Lennox finally arrived, it was cuteness overload! I mean, seriously! All that hair!! He was the sweetest baby his entire shoot. During a newborn photo session, it’s important to keep the baby calm. It’s funny, since both Ravnell and Langston are pretty laid back, sweet Lennox was just as laid back! ย Little LJ, was obviously full of energy, but he was ALL ABOUT being a big brother, and cheesed the entire time when he was able to get his pictures with his baby brother. ย I had to just keep shooting when he was by himself… LOOK AT THOSE DIMPLES!!
I’m so thankful that Ravnell found me, and trusted me to be her maternity and newborn photographer. I can’t wait to watch sweet Lennox grow, and to get more family pictures of this ADORABLE family!
