It’s always awesome when you get to be the photographer for a life-long friend! Nicole and I met in high school (go Leopards!) and let me tell you, this wedding was like a family reunion for me! Seriously, I just love her family and have always just fit in… anywho… It’s a now “normal” love story.. Nicole and Dimitri met online and just fit together. Their kids bonded and their love grew and grew. So, when they decided to get married, everyone was so excited!! We decided to not only do a first look but also to shoot the couples portraits prior to the ceremony. I enjoy this for two reasons. One, I love when it’s just the bride and groom the first time he sees her. The emotions are amazing, and so personal! The other reason I like it is because we can choose any location we want. Let me tell you, I never knew just how beautiful the University of South Florida campus was. Seriously, classes were not in session, so we had it to ourselves! And the pictures turned out STUNNING! 🙂

The wedding and reception were at The Event Factory in Tampa. Who knew from the outside what an amazing fairytale was waiting on the inside! I mean seriously, there’s a knight on a horse! Love and Fun (and amazing sarcasm) were the themes for the day. It was a blast, and I’m thankful they chose me to document it!
