St. Augustine beach weddings at the beginning of August can be dicey. Will it be 99 degrees and 100% humidity? Will it a surprise rainstorm suddenly roll in during the ceremony? Honestly, it's always a gamble and nobody knows! But Devin and Caleb lucked out during...
2017 baldwin high senior miranda \\ jacksonville senior photographer
When I first talked to Miranda, I was immediately excited about all of her ideas for her senior shoot. First of all, I grew up riding horses, so I was ALL about starting out at the farm where her horse was! Her sweet boyfriend, Blaine, even made sure to wash Zena before the shoot (which I appreciated, made him a keeper in my book 😉 When Miranda and I were discussing outfits, we both agreed that I should raid my own closet and bring some options! Yes, I have a huge closet and Yes, I’m happy to share!
Of course when I got to the farm, it was raining….. we waited for it to stop, and had the PERFECT light for Miranda and Zena’s shoot as you see below!
Miranda and I then jumped in the car (with mom following behind) and we had about a 45 minute drive towards driftwood beach. I love this windshield time with my seniors…. we talked about life and her plans. Turns out Miranda is not only beautiful, but VERY smart and frankly, amazing. In fact, she’s experienced a lot in her short life, and decided to make good of a pretty bad situation by helping others. Miranda is the youngest known CERTIFIED Victim’s Advocate in the nation. That definitely takes a special person, and I do believe Miranda is very special.
Because Miranda is so brilliant, she will attend the University of Florida (Go Gators) to get her Psychology degree so she can not only continue to give back and be an advocate for children, but to also start a non-profit dedicated to helping victims of abuse.
Thank you Miranda for choosing me, I am honored to be “showing off” such an amazing girl! 🙂
Jacksonville has had a bit of a rough weather patch for the last month or so - and it's been wreaking havoc on my photo sessions. I'm starting to think that North Florida missed the memo that spring was a few months ago! However, the weather has finally decided to...
