When I first talked to Miranda, I was immediately excited about all of her ideas for her senior shoot. First of all, I grew up riding horses, so I was ALL about starting out at the farm where her horse was! Her sweet boyfriend, Blaine, even made sure to wash Zenaย before the shoot (which I appreciated, made him a keeper in my book ๐ ย When Miranda and I were discussing outfits, we both agreed that I should raid my own closet and bring some options! Yes, I have a huge closet and Yes, I’m happy to share!
Of course when I got to the farm, it was raining….. we waited for it to stop, and had the PERFECT light for Miranda and Zena’s shoot as you see below!
Miranda and I then jumped in the car (with mom following behind) and we had about a 45 minute drive towards driftwood beach. I love this windshield time with my seniors…. we talked about life and her plans. Turns out Miranda is not only beautiful, but VERY smart and frankly, amazing. In fact, she’s experienced a lot in her short life, and decided to make good of a pretty bad situation by helping others. Miranda is the youngest known CERTIFIED Victim’s Advocate in the nation. That definitely takes a special person, and I do believe Miranda is very special.
Because Miranda is so brilliant, she willย attend the University of Florida (Go Gators) to getย her Psychology degree so she can not only continue to give back and be an advocate for children, but to alsoย start a non-profit dedicated to helping victims of abuse.
Thank you Miranda for choosing me, I am honored to be “showing off” such an amazing girl! ๐
