Oh sweet Charity…. When she contacted me about getting senior pictures taken, I was excited to know that she was also a Varsity Soccer player for Ed White High School, and wanted to take advantage of my Senior Pictures Special that as a bonus to your regular senior picture session, you get me on the sidelines at one of your games next season! Charity then asked if her loving grandma could join us during her session in Washington Oaks Gardens State Park in Palm Coast. Of course “grams” was welcome… Yes, I called her that! She was so sweet, and reminded me of my sweet grams…
Anywho, Washington Oaks never disappoints, and sweet Charity was so sweet and beautiful! Of course we had a nice discussion on the hour drive south about her plans after graduation. It led to something I want to bring to light in this blog post. When I asked her about college, she responded that she didn’t think she could go. I stopped her right there. If you say you “can’t” do something, chances are you “won’t”. Is college expensive? Yes. Is that a reason to not want to go? No. There are scholarships everywhere, all you have to do is start early, and apply for anything and everything! But, you MUST put out there that you WILL go to college. Where there’s a WILL there’s a WAY. Yes, I am that person. I think positively about everything. I am realistic, but I do believe that you get what you give. So, Charity, you better start saying out loud, “I WILL go to college!” ๐
Thank you again for choosing me to do your senior pictures. You’re just beautiful. Oh, and kiss grams for me!
